Blenders, juicers and service speed
Domestic blenders fail quickly under commercial duty. Look for motor rating and duty cycle rather than jug size — a smaller commercial machine will outlast a large consumer one several times over, and the sound enclosure is worth having if your bar is anywhere near seating.
Ice is the constraint most new juice bars underestimate. Smoothie service consumes far more than a café of the same size, so size the machine on daily kilograms rather than cabinet dimensions, and remember that output ratings assume cool ambient conditions.
